Where in the World is Paddle for a Purpose?
Our little tandem kayak, Kupendana, traveled from the Headwaters of the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. Now, the story of her service journey is traveling, too. Take a look at where Paddle for a Purpose has been spotted! Submit a photo along with your name and location to bgeiger1@gmail.com or Barbara Ann Geiger on Facebook. At the end of May, two entrants were selected at random to receive gift certificates to my publisher’s website, http://www.electiopublishing.com. Congratulations to Donna Inman and Jennifer Werner! Don’t worry, though…you can still send in pictures. Let’s see how far we can go!
- Jennifer Werner snuggles up to read with Catie in Waukesha, WI.
- Jennifer Humiston, whom we met in Hannibal, now serves with Pioneer Bible Translators in Duncanville, TX.
- Donna Inman brings stories of the Mississippi along on vacation to Branson, MO.
- Terry Inman starts Paddle in Branson. Did Donna finish it already?
- Who is that? Why, it’s Lisa Garber in the garden, reading one of the first copies of Paddle for a Purpose.
- Jean is spotted with Paddle for a Purpose in Corte Madera, CA!
- Jim Landwehr relaxes with Paddle for a Purpose riverside. (Where else?)
- Dale, Judy, Jan, and Beth enjoy what must be one of the funny parts at Eagle Springs Lake (the location of Kupendana’s maiden paddle).
- Jan Ellor stands in the middle of the Mississippi River – rather, the scale model of the Mississippi River at Mud Island, Memphis, TN. The book? Her daughter’s already reading it!
- Kerry Crowley relaxes at her cabin in Oxford, Wisconsin. What a beautiful water view!
- Anne Rohwer enjoys a trip down the Mississippi River all the way from Fair Oakes, California!
- Leeanne Humiston opens her birthday present from Jennifer and Jeremy (see above) on her Mississippi River houseboat.
